Bring your “No Shave November” mustaches and beards to one final bash before shaving them off at the Mustache Dash 5K! Participants are encouraged to grow out their facial hair during the month of November and Commit Your Mustache To Dash with us on Dec. 2nd to bring Men’s Cancer Awareness to the public eye. Race proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life events of Southern Illinois to fund cancer research, local programs and services, and education on cancer prevention. So grow or grab your most stylish stache and get ready to dash to the finish line in the Mustache Dash 5K!
The Mustache Dash 5K will be a walk/run event starting at the Carbondale High School track. The path will then go South through the Super Block before coming to the track. There will also be a Little Mustache Kids Fun Run which will be one lap around the High School track.
Registration begins at 9 AM. The kids fun run will begin at 10 AM with the 5K directly following.
5K – includes long sleeve t-shirt and fake mustache $25
Kids Fun Run – includes medal and fake mustache $5
Kids Fun Run – includes t-shirt, medal, and fake mustache $15
Day of registration is available
Must register by November 24th to guarantee your t-shirt.
This will be timed by So iLL Racing and Music in Motion will be DJing.
All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society’s life-saving mission through the Relay For Life events in Carbondale and Williamson County.
