The Family Vacation Night Committee is hosting a Mobile Vaccination Clinic for all eligible individuals. The event will take place on Monday May 10th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at their annual ‘Play is Our Superpower’ Family Vacation Night Drive Thru on Pine Street behind Sallie Logan Public Library. This event is part of the vaccination effort coordinated by the Reginal Hospital Coordinating Center, Jackson County Health Department, and the US Army National Guard.
Illinois is currently in Phase 4 of administering vaccines. Under phase 4, all individuals 16 and up are eligible to receive the vaccine. Vaccines are necessary to fight against Covid-19 and for the safety and well-being of families and communities. No appointments are necessary. Eligible individuals should provide a valid form of identification and must be a least 18 years of age. Individuals 16-17 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
There is no charge for the vaccine, and insurance will not be billed. For more information, please visit dph.Illinois.gov or call the Jackson County Health Department at (618) 684-3143.
