Artspace 304 announces a new exhibition, “Etch, Litho, Screen” on view at Artspace 304 now
through October 4. Join us for the opening reception on Friday, August 16 from 5-7pm. This
exhibition showcases Artspace 304’s Print Collection. Artists in our collection range from the
Midwest to across the continental US, as well as international artists from the UK, Europe, Asia
and Australia. In the north section of the gallery, we are exhibiting prints from the 1972 and
1976 Olympic Games. These large scale prints were commissioned by renowned artists
highlighting sports such as track, gymnastics, and swimming. They also celebrate the unifying
nature of the Olympic Games and its ancient Greek history.
A variety of printmaking techniques are displayed in the exhibition, such as lithography,
silkscreen and serigraph printing. Many prints have multiple editions available that can be
purchased on the day of the sale. Start your art collection today!
This event is free and open to the public. Event parking is available in the First Christian Church
parking lot, located on W Monroe St and S University Ave in Carbondale, IL. For more
