Jackson County Health Department announces the opening of a Sexual Health Services office at the Eurma C. Hayes Community Center, located at 441 E. Willow
St. in Carbondale. This office is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1-4
pm, and offers sexual health services at no cost. This includes confidential rapid
testing for HIV and Hepatitis C, risk reduction counseling, and referrals to
community partners.
In addition, staff will provide sexual health education and safe sex supplies in order
to help individuals reduce their risk of exposure to sexually transmitted infections,
and to better understand the impact of sexually transmitted infections on
reproductive health and longevity.
