This festive event is free and open to all ages, offering an afternoon of creativity, fun, and holiday cheer before the Lights Fantastic Parade begins.
The Cookie Decorating Event has become a beloved tradition in Carbondale, bringing together the community to enjoy the simple pleasures of decorating—and eating—delicious holiday cookies. Participants will have access to a wide array of icing, sprinkles, and decorations to craft their own festive cookie masterpieces. Whether you’re a seasoned decorator or a first-timer, there’s fun to be had by all!
“This event is one of our favorite ways to connect with the Carbondale community during the holiday season,” said Justin Zurlinden. “We’re thrilled to offer a free, family-friendly activity that allows everyone to get into the holiday spirit while creating memories that will last long after the cookies are gone.”
The Cookie Decorating Event will take place just before the Lights Fantastic Parade, which kicks off the festive season in Carbondale. Attendees are encouraged to get creative with their cookie designs, and then head out to the parade for an evening filled with lights, music, and holiday excitement.
