CARBONDALE –
The 2025 Carbondale Neighborhood Alliance Meeting, scheduled for Saturday, February 1, starting at 10 a.m.,
will focus on Emergency Management planning. The event will be held at the Carbondale Public Library and
will also be accessible via a Zoom facilitated by the Library.
This two-hour gathering serves as a valuable source of information about our community. In addition to disaster
preparedness at the city and county level, attendees can learn about how neighborhoods are addressing current
challenges; what changes are in the works at the City; and upcoming events organized by community
organizations.
The meeting is open to all who call Carbondale home. For those preferring online access, registration is
available at register.carbondalepubliclibrary.org/NAM.
The Neighborhood Alliance Meeting is a project of the Neighborhood Action Group, a public organization that
meets monthly to explore ways to improve our neighborhoods and community. All meetings are open to the
public, with the next one scheduled for Wednesday, January 8. For call or leave a message at 549 5302 x 386

“Carbondale prides itself on providing its visitors, students, businesses and residents with a unique
mix of edge and ease. It’s a cultural town, yet free of pretense, embracing the great outdoors as readily
as urban sophistication. Here, we are open to new ideas, experiences and cultures, so you are
encouraged to both express yourself and be yourself, in all ways. That’s Carbondale…All Ways
Open… for family, fun, business, new ideas and a bright tomorrow.”
