On January 21st, the City of Carbondale will join communities nationwide in recognizing the day by inviting people from all backgrounds to participate in facilitated dialogue that offers participants the opportunity to reflect on the history of racism, understand their roles in confronting inequality, and foster ongoing community-building.
This event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5pm and dialogue will begin at 5:30pm. Seating is limited and registration required. For more information, please contact Dianah McGreehan at dmcgreehan@carbondaleil.gov or call 618-457-3282.
