The City of Carbondale is excited to share the date and time for our annual tree lighting will be Wednesday,
December 4, from 5-7 PM at the Town Square Pavilion.
We invite all community members to join us for this festive time! There will be cookies & hot cocoa to enjoy,
make & take crafts, and of course….the chance to meet Santa!
After the ceremony the community tree shall be lit every evening at 5 PM throughout the Holiday season.
The Carbondale Police Department will have a drop-off box at this event for their Coats for Kids Drive. If you
wish to spread some warmth this winter, please bring new coats for kids ages 1-10 yrs old.
We’re so excited to kick off our Holiday events with this special tree lighting- stay tuned for more info on our
Candy Walk, and our biggest event of the year- The Lights Fantastic Parade, December 7!
