OWLS! Thursday March 27, 7 PM
Everyone is invited to a program featuring OWLS, taking place at 7 PM, Thursday, March 27 at the Carbondale Civic Center, 200 S. Illinois Ave, Carbondale, IL.

The program will feature Bev Shoffstall of Free Again Wildlife Rehabilitation, along with several of her rescued owls, sharing their story and her knowledge of these incredible birds. Owls have fascinated humans for centuries with their mysterious presence and captivating features. From their haunting calls to their unique adaptations, these nocturnal birds of prey have much to reveal about the wonder of nature. They are intriguing birds that easily capture the attention and curiosity of everyone who meets one.
Come join us and learn about owl conservation and natural history. Sponsored by Shawnee Chapter Illinois Audubon Society, the presentation is free and open to the public, everyone is welcome.
Free Again, Inc. is a volunteer, non-profit organization providing the Southern Illinois region with rehabilitation services for injured, ill, or orphaned wildlife. Through awareness and education, they encourage a peaceful coexistence between people and our native wildlife. Free Again has been providing rehabilitation services to injured and orphaned wild animals in Illinois since 1988 and is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit corporation supported entirely by donations of time materials and financial contributions from donors and receives no funding from city, state or federal entities. Shawnee Chapter Illinois Audubon Society was formed in 1995 and serves as stewards of War Bluff Valley Wildlife Sanctuary. Shawnee Chapter is the local chapter of the Illinois Audubon Society, with members from across southernmost Illinois and the state. We focus on issues of environmental significance to Southern Illinois, with special emphasis on those that pertain to the conservation and preservation of our native flora and fauna.
